How It's Done

Generally, the procedure takes about an hour. We start off by choosing a color that will match your skin tone. We will also choose the appropriate needle for your procedure. We will then numb the area with a topical anesthetic. After about 10-15 minutes, a shallow first pass is made in order to get the numbing cream absorbed. Then a second anesthetic is applied. Once it is numb, deeper passes are made to get the pigment under the skin. After completion, I will apply A&D ointment. This is to keep the area moist. I recommend visiting the aftercare instructions.

Below is a description of the different hand tools I use.

The Edgar Hand Infusion Applicator The Edgar Hand Infusion Applicator

These handheld applicators are the best manual applicators I have ever seen or used. They come packaged in sterilized pouches and are intended for immediate disposal after use. There are two different styles of needles that are designed for different results.

For example:
On the left side in the picture to the right is called a 3 Flat, which are three needles aligned in a row. This is used for achieving a thin crisp line, mostly used for lash enhancement.

To the right is a 4 Round, which are four needles aligned in a circular cluster. This is considered to be "the workhorse" of the two. 4 Round is used for creating thick lines for heavy eyeliner and eyebrows.

KP96 Machine The KP96 Machine

This dainty machine I use for lip and brow procedures. Unlike most machines, this machine is quiet. It is also considered by most to be less painful for lip procedures and much faster than the handheld.
