permanent cosmetics
Q & A
You been inked!
Prices are based on the cosmetic industry and are competitive with other company's prices.
Q: What are permanent cosmetics?
A: Permanent cosmetics are the infusion of color beneath the skin called the dermal layer.
Q: Is it truly permanent?
A: Yes, anything that last longer than 24 hours is considered "permanent" However it is more subjectable to fade with sun exposure and the shedding of skin cells.
Q: Does it look natural?
A: You bet! Your friends will never know the difference.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: Everybody has different sensitivity levels. Some clients fall asleep and some clients became sore quickly. I advise women not to come in when they're menstruating.
Q: Downtime?
A: There is no downtime. Most clients return to their normal activities without pause (although there are precautions you must follow).
Q: Are needles reused?
A: NO. Applicators are used one time only and then disposed.
Q: Are the pigments safe?
A: All of my pigments are FDA approved and made in the U.S.A. These pigments are specially made for permanent makeup. If your skin is super sensitive or you feel you might be allergic, I recommend doing a patch test first.
Q: Can I still get an MRI?
A: Absolutely.
Some may think that the ingredients in our pigments cause inaccurate
readings but the truth is that there is not enough iron oxides in our
pigments to even come close to interfering.
Q: How long does the procedure take?
A: The procedure itself takes 1 hour. The whole process takes about an hour and 30 minutes.
Q: Does it fade?
A: After the procedure the color is dark, but as its healing it fades 40% and leaves you with a true and natural looking color.
Q: Is it expensive?
A: It depends where you go. It can be really expensive, or it can be really cheap! My business is somewhere in the middle. Remember this is your face, pick a professional!
Q: Will I need touch-ups?
A: You will need to come in once a year for a touch up. This is to maintain a fresh solid look.
Q: How do you choose the color and the shape when doing brows?
A: I match the pigment according to your skin tone and hair color. The shape is also matched with your facial features.
